Play a game—see who can get the seat  Explain the rules of this game. (There are five studens and four chairs in the front, other students count numbers from one, when the teacher says stop, the five sit quickly,and see who can get the seat!) T: XX is the winner! And we get numberXX! You are great!   1.T: I have something special, do you like it? S: Yes, I do. T: Can you guess it? And what colour is it? 2.Give some advice to the students ,advise them  to have a Christmas party for the celebration. 3. T: What food shall we prepare for the party? S: Students may answer milk shake. Ask a student to retell the process of making a banana milk shake and other fruit milk shake.   To make an atmos- phere of Christmas.   Practice the ability in using language.       Leading in the new class.     Go over the process of making a banana milk shake and the target language.         Introduce some new  vocabulary. 7'                     10' teaching steps T and Ss’ activities purpose of design Time         While-task                             Post-task       Assignment 1. T: Now what else do you want to prepare for your big dinner? Do you want to learn how to make fruit salad? Listen to the tape carefully and you will know it. Play the recording and finish activities 2a and 2b.Ask a pair of students to repeat the process of making fruit salad.   2. Show pictures about the ingredients of making sandwich. Ask students to discuss how to make a sandwich in groups and then write the procedure down.Using first,next ,then ,finally. Give some other useful verbs.Move around and offer language help if necessary. Then leaders give reports to the class. Ask the other groups a few questions about the reports.   1. T: Now,It’s  time to get our party started. Make your favorite food in groups for the party.   2. Encourage students to invite some friends or guests to their party.   3. Have a competition among groups.   Make a kind of food that you learnt today for your parents at home and tell your parents what the westerns like to eat and how to make them.   Listening practice and practice the target language “how many / how much”       Arouse students’ learning enthusiasm Give students a chance of learning by doing.         Encourage students to study through  participation, communication, and cooperation.         Educate students to love people around. How many apples do we need?   Teaching Recall Put students into an atmosphere of Christmas, and advise them to have a Christmas party to celebrate. Then lead them to learn contents of Unit 7. So, I disigned three tasks, i.e. Prepare the ingredients for the party, the process of making food and invite friends. The tasks make students work in groups and study by doing.They felt the happiness of studying and success. But there are many steps, which needed students to preview pretty well.
