Unit 4 How do you get to school? Teaching goals : 1. Words & phrases: get to , how far , bicycle , subway , minute , mile , bus stop . 2. Talk about how to get to places (談?wù)摮鲂蟹绞? take the bus /subway /train /taxi , ride a bike /walk . 3. how引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句,表示乘坐何種交通工具的方式.how far ,how long 引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句. 4. 復(fù)習(xí)基數(shù)詞及時(shí)間的表示方法. 5. 了解中外文化的差異. Teaching aids: cards and a tape-recorder . 情感、態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀:談?wù)搶W(xué)生日常生活中的交通工具以及打算與感受,以此激發(fā)學(xué)生的英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣,不斷增強(qiáng)他們對生活的熱愛與信心。 單元教學(xué)建議(方法): 積極創(chuàng)設(shè)英語場景,采用角色扮演(Role play )、練習(xí)(Practising )、大聲朗讀(Reading loudly)、問與答(Asking and ansering)等方式組織教學(xué),師生互動、生生互動,團(tuán)結(jié)協(xié)作。以此不斷提高學(xué)生英語動嘴、動手能力;通過播放英語錄音幫助學(xué)生進(jìn)一步熟悉英語聽力學(xué)習(xí)技巧,從而引導(dǎo)他們進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣,愛學(xué)英語,善學(xué)英語,最終進(jìn)一步提高他們的英語聽、說、讀、寫等綜合能力。 課時(shí)分配:四課時(shí) SectionA(一) 1課時(shí) SectionA(二) 1課時(shí) SectionB(一) 1 課時(shí) SectionB(二) 1課時(shí) Period 1 Unit4 How do you get to school? SectionA(一) Teaching procedures : Step 1: Leading in Greetings and free talk . T: How do we get to school ? Some students walk ,some students take the bus ,some students ride a bike .Does anyone take the subway ? No , we have no subway .OK ,today we will learn Unit 4 . Explain : get to Step 2: While-task SB Page19 , 1a&1c . 1. Write down how you get to school . 2. Look at the picture .Write down how the students get to school. 3. Make dialogues with the phrases . 4. Groupwork: Divide the students into groups of three or four .Practice reading the dialogues. 5. Act out their dialogues . SB Page 19 , 1b .Listening 1. Make sure the Ss know what ot do .Give them an example orally if possible . 2. Read the names . 3. Play the tape and check the answers . SB Page 20 , 2a&2b . 1. Revise the numbers . 2. Teach the new word :minute . 3. Play the tape for the students to finish 2a&2b .Then play again and check the answers . Step 3 Post-task If there is time ,make conversations .
