The pupils can describe their weather 教材分析 重點(diǎn) Topic vocabulary Call our friends,watch a film, listen to music, play the piano, play a game, surf the Internet 難點(diǎn) Use the topic vocabulary to describe the weather of four seasons. 課前準(zhǔn)備 教具 picture cards a tape recorder a projector a computer some objects picture cards 學(xué)具 課件 KOKO愛(ài)英語(yǔ) 教學(xué)過(guò)程 一 Organization ( 3’ ) 1. Have a free talk 二 Revision and check up ( 5 ‘ ) 1. Revise the new words and patterns of Unit 2 2. Mime the actions again and ask What am I doing? The class answer You are ….ing…. 三 Presentation and consolidation ( 19’ ) Write the verb phrases on strips of paper. Display the v0erb strips on the board. Teach the meanings of the words on the verb strips by miming or showing the actions. 3.Ask the pupils to tell me the names of the months. Write the names of the four seasons on the board and write the names of the months under the appropriate seasons. Tell the pupils to repeat the seasons in the order in which they come in the year 4. Show transparency . Play the pupils Book Cassette and point to the speech bubbles. Ask the pupils to repeat after the cassette. 5. Point to the picture cards and ask the pupils to make sentences about the weather in those cities what they can do. 6. The pupils , in pairs , take turns to make sentences what can they do about the weather in their city in each of the seasons 7. PIay a ming game. Take down the verd strips.Divide the class into two teams. Ask a member of one team to come out. Have them read a sentence strip silently then mime the action. Ask his or her team What is he/she doing? If the team can answer correctly they get one point.If they answer wrongly, the other team can guess. Ask a member of the other team to come out next. 四 Summing up ( 3’ ) 1. Ask some pupils to read the new vocabulary . 2. Encourage the pupils to ask some questions about the text. 3.
