附：錯(cuò)別字。求職信中的錯(cuò)字、別字和病句一定要努力消滅干凈。文字性錯(cuò)誤在打印的求職信中尤為常見(jiàn)。求職信是展示語(yǔ)言文字水平的絕好機(jī)會(huì)，而且許多單位對(duì)這方面的要求相當(dāng)高，因此，在寫完求職信的時(shí)候，一定仔細(xì)檢查幾遍，最好能請(qǐng)同學(xué)或老師提提意見(jiàn)，以確保萬(wàn)無(wú)一失。
濫用縮寫。前面說(shuō)過(guò)日期不要縮寫，其實(shí)在求職信中，除非是眾所周知的、常用的縮寫外，盡量不要縮寫。如“北京航天航空大學(xué)”不要寫成“北航”，“中山大學(xué)”不要寫成“中大”。在許多情況下，你認(rèn)為對(duì)方應(yīng)當(dāng)知道的縮寫對(duì)方未必就知道，即使對(duì)方知道，充斥著諸如“北航”、“中大”等縮寫的求職信也顯得不嚴(yán)肅和沒(méi)禮貌。
堆砌辭藻。即使你滿腹經(jīng)綸，也不要幻想用華麗的辭藻就能打動(dòng)招聘者。許多大學(xué)畢業(yè)生寫求職信都喜歡用一些華麗的語(yǔ)言，認(rèn)為這樣就能使自己的求職信脫穎而出，其實(shí)不然。華麗的語(yǔ)言大多是華而不實(shí)的，是屬于大話、空話、套話，并沒(méi)實(shí)際的作用。事實(shí)上，有的求職信沒(méi)有任何豪言壯語(yǔ)，也沒(méi)有使用多么華麗的詞匯，但使人讀來(lái)覺(jué)得親切、自然、實(shí)實(shí)在在。
過(guò)于煽情。現(xiàn)在有些大學(xué)生在 找工作 的時(shí)候喜歡打“感情牌”，希望自己制作的求職信能出奇制勝而往往采取比較極端的手法，例如把自己在成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程中走過(guò)的一些彎路夸張地描寫為自己的“血淚史”或“真情告白”，這是不足取的。什么“自幼父母離異”、“弟弟輟學(xué)在家”，一些求職者把這些經(jīng)歷當(dāng)成了求職的資本，企圖能博得用人單位的同情。其實(shí)，用人單位看了反而會(huì)覺(jué)得虛偽和有失誠(chéng)信。
