　　一個畫家掛在墻上他或她完成的圖片，每個人都可以看到它。作曲家寫完了一部作品，但沒有人可以聽到它，直到它被執(zhí)行。專業(yè)歌手和球員有很大的責任，因為作曲家是完全依賴于他們。一名學音樂的學生需要長期的，艱苦的訓練，成為一名演員，就象一名醫(yī)科的學生要成為一名醫(yī)生。絕大多數(shù)的訓練是技巧性的音樂家們有一個運動員或芭蕾舞演員肌肉的能力。歌手們每天都練習呼吸他們的聲帶，將有效地控制肌肉的不足。弦樂演奏實踐中移動是在左手的手指上下，同時提請弓并用右手，兩個截然不同的動作來回。

　　歌手和樂器演奏者必須能夠得到每個音符完美。鋼琴家們則不用操這份心，因為每個音符都已在那里等待著他們，這是調音師的責任來調整他們的工具。但他們有自己的'困難;錘子襲擊的字符串必須哄著不健全象是打擊樂器，而且每個交疊的音都必須要清晰。
