Recently,low-carbon becomes a high-frequency and fashionable word which gets thegreatest concern in the world. Low-carbon life means a kind oflifestyle in which people do their best to reduce energy consumptionand carbon greenhouse gas emissions.
It is of vitalimportance for the whole world to practice the low-carbon lifestyle.Firstly, our natural resources and energy are limited; therefore, it isabsolutely necessary for us to save and protect them. Secondly, inorder to protect our environment from serious greenhouse effect, weneed a low-carbon emission. It is low-carbon life that enables our nextgenerations to live a better and superior life.
What weshould bear in mind is that the earth is common home. Thus, every oneis well advised to practice this lifestyle and there are several waysfor us to do this. Firstly, every one is expected to cultivate theirawareness of saving energy. Then, we are also hoped to help ourfamilies and friends to live a low-carbon life. Only by doing so can wehope to create a world where all humans enjoy a clean and tidyenvironment. (185words)

Presently,a new lifestyle called low carbon life is spreading every corner of ourcountry. The concepts of low carbonare low energy and no waste. It issuch a significant project that I can’t wait to present my ideas on howto promote it.
On the first place, a no-carday is supposed to set up every week in our school. Because cars notonly cause serious air pollution but also waste energy. On on-car day,neither students nor teachers are allowed to drive to school.Meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run. Use our legs and enjoy thefun.
On the second place, we had best not useplastic bags any more. No one can stand the “white pollution”. So, itis wise to use bags which can be reused again and again.
Finally, one thing that we should keep in mind: every big thing comesfrom the subtle. Therefore, as students, we ought to turn out thelights the moment we leave, turn off the tap in time, and reuse ourtextbook and so on.
All in all, it weighsgreatly for all of us to put the low carbon lifestyle into practice.Just set our mind to these: no-car day, no plastic bags, and no waste.Let’s do it now.

自從召開了哥本哈根氣候大會(huì)，“低碳”這個(gè)詞就走進(jìn)了我們的生活。什么是低碳？就是減少二氧化碳的排放，保護(hù)環(huán)境。節(jié)水，節(jié)電，節(jié)能，這都是低碳生活。嘿嘿，在這里，我就有個(gè)好方法介紹給大家哦。

每天吃完飯，家家都要洗碗。這可是家常便飯。晚飯結(jié)束后，廚房里經(jīng)常傳出“鍋碗瓢盆交響曲”。記得是星期二的一天，我像領(lǐng)導(dǎo)一樣，雙手背在后面，來看媽媽洗碗了。“哎呦呦，媽媽呀，洗碗可不能這樣洗！”我的左腳剛踏進(jìn)去，就開始說了。你瞧瞧，我媽媽似乎跟水過不去，把水龍頭擰到了最大，就在那一只放著�？吹竭@樣，我敢保證，每次洗碗都要浪費(fèi)50%的水資源。于是，我快步走到了媽媽的面前。拿了一個(gè)干凈的盆，放了一盆干凈的自來水，然后，將水放了進(jìn)去。繼續(xù)奏響“鍋碗瓢盆交響曲”。事后，我又告訴媽媽：“媽媽，現(xiàn)在講究的是低碳生活。要節(jié)水，節(jié)電，節(jié)能。不讓我們的搖籃——地球受到傷害。你看看，你剛才的做法不就是浪費(fèi)水資源嗎？用不流動(dòng)的水洗碗不一定很臟。說不定比你用流動(dòng)的水洗的還干凈呢。你要記住，環(huán)保就是從身邊的一點(diǎn)一滴做起。”“哦，我知道了，我會(huì)注意的。”從那以后，我媽媽就再也沒有浪費(fèi)過寶貴的水資源。

同學(xué)們，這就是低碳生活。我希望你們也能做一個(gè)環(huán)保的小公民。
